There are many rumors and leaks that HMD Global is hosting a launch event in China on January 19 to Nokia 9. It is also reported that the company will also showcase Nokia 8 along with other flagship devices. Nokia 9 to Launch with Nokia 8 (2018) on January 19.
There are also rumors that HMD will offer both custom smartphones to a smartphone to match the preferences of Chinese customers. MyDrivers have leaked a screenshot that shows the Nokia 9. The screenshot shows that Nokia 9 with 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage will go on sale for China 3,699 whereas other versions with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage will be CNY at 4,199 .
It is expected that Nokia 9 will have 5.5-inch QHD display and Qualcomm Snapdragon 835. The protective glass of smartphone showed its curved display similar to Galaxy S7 Edge. The case also revealed that the handset will have a fingerprint sensor and dual camera setup.
The smartphone is expected to have a USB Type-C port and is likely to run Android Oreo out of the box. Just like Nokia 9, Nokia 8 will also have Snapdragon 835 processor and Android Oreo. HMD global has started rolling out an update for 2017 Nokia 8 last month.
